About Turn IT On tecnical support for schools

Turn IT On supports over 200 primary schools with their IT needs. This support includes visits from a designated technical consultant who regularly helps the same school within a structured timetable. The number of visits depends on what level of support contract the school chooses. Between visits, consultants are also reachable for emergency telephone support so they can help to resolve any technical problem as soon as possible.

During their visits consultants help solve any technical problems such as network, hardware, software and connection failures and many of our consultants are also ex-teachers who can offer support with IT lesson planning and teaching. Some consultants are regularly booked in to teach lessons themselves, and we can offer teacher training and inset days.

In fact, we are so keen to encourage schools to make the most of cross-curricular IT that we launched our own unique scheme of work software, iTeachers, which is available for any school to subscribe to whether or not they have a support contract with us.

Other services Turn IT On offer are:

  • Admin machine support
  • Ordering hardware and software
  • Arranging and managing installations
  • An offsite back-up solution
  • Support in applying to the ICT Mark

To enable our schools to effectively manage their IT and the support Turn IT On provide we have a specially designed iMIS support portal which incorporates all the information a school will ever need to manage their ICT and their Turn IT On support. Here, schools can log support issues, access important contact details, order hardware and software, track installations, review a complete inventory of their ICT equipment, track their consultants’ visit dates, leave feedback and check what other Turn IT On support they are entitled to.

We will contact you to arrange your school's free ICT audit as soon as we receive your request.
