ICT resources for World Book Day
Today is World Book Day and there are hundreds of online resources to help get your class excited about stories and reading. We have gathered links to five of the best:
1. The World Book Day website is full of great online resources and ideas. Our favourites are Jacqueline Wilson’s and David Walliams’ offerings.
2. Mr P’s ICT blog provides ideas for 10 iPad lessons for World Book Day.
3. The Guardian’s Teacher Network is a great mine of information, providing various resources and activity packs.
4. The TES website have collated several links to online games which are well worth taking a look at. Check out their free resource calendar – it provides a useful reminder of annual events like World Book Day and keeps all their online resources in one place.
5. We love this poster listing the 100 books to read before you’re 14 from the Books Trust website. How many have the children in your class read?
