So far this term the Turn IT On MIS team have run two new sessions, these are alongside the work-space and training sessions regularly held throughout the term.

The first new session was an MIS Induction course for New Headteachers. This afternoon training event gave new headteachers an introduction to the role of finance and improvement planning in the school. Alongside the different ways headteachers can use SIMS/FMS more effectively in their role. 

The second new session was an Academy Conversion and MAT guidance seminar. This morning seminar outlined to school leaders, business managers, and administrators what you can expect during the academy conversion process. Advice on the best practice techniques was given and the team highlighted useful pointers to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Both sessions had a great turn out and all attendees left the sessions with a greater knowledge and understanding to take back to school.
