Service Delivery Manager
Technology has always been a passion of mine. I studied computing at university, where I focused my dissertation on the role of technology in education—a subject close to my heart. Growing up in a family of teachers gave me invaluable insight into the education sector and hands-on experience that shaped my understanding of the challenges and opportunities schools face.
In November 2010, I joined Turn IT on when it was a much smaller company of just 25 people. I became the fourth member of the London team, starting as a consultant. Over the next two years, I provided onsite IT support to schools across London and Surrey before moving to the Oxfordshire team, where I worked as a consultant for an additional four years. Supporting a diverse range of schools during this time gave me a deep appreciation for the impact of IT on education and the importance of reliable, innovative support.
My career at Turn IT on has been an incredible journey. After six years as a consultant, I transitioned into management, starting as an Account Manager for Oxfordshire. I then progressed to Bucks Team Manager for two years and later became the South-Central Team Manager, a role I held for four years. Each step brought new challenges and opportunities for growth, ultimately leading to my current position as Service Delivery Manager, which I’ve held for the past two and a half years.
In my role as Service Delivery Manager, I oversee the Regional Team Managers and support the Onboarding Managers, ensuring seamless service delivery for our schools. I also serve as a point of escalation when schools require additional assistance, maintaining the quality and reliability of our technical support and services. Beyond this, I contribute to the company’s innovation and IT development initiatives, helping drive progress and adapt to the evolving needs of education.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing the impact we have on people—both within and beyond the company. I take great pride in mentoring people, helping them develop their skills and watching them flourish in their careers. Giving others opportunities and supporting their success has been deeply fulfilling. Working alongside intelligent, talented colleagues and managing a high-performing team has been another highlight of my journey.
Despite the company’s fantastic growth over the years, Turn IT on has retained its vibrant, supportive culture. We celebrate our successes, encourage innovation, and remain focused on delivering meaningful impact to schools. For me, seeing the difference we make in education is what makes this journey truly rewarding.
