Technical Project Manager

Looking back, I’m proud to say I’ve been part of Turn IT on for nearly a decade. It’s been an incredible journey of growth, learning, and opportunities, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my path within the company.

Before joining Turn IT on, I worked in schools as a primary school teacher. This experience gave me a deep understanding of the demanding nature of education and the daily challenges teachers face. When I transitioned into my first role here as an ICT Consultant, that firsthand experience made my work even more meaningful—I knew the impact that reliable IT support could have in a school environment.

After spending time providing direct technical support to schools, I took the next step in my career and became the Regional Team Manager for Buckinghamshire and East. Leading such a talented and dedicated team was an incredible opportunity, and it allowed me to develop my leadership and management skills while continuing to support schools in new ways.

Now, in my role as Technical Project Manager, I oversee the projects team and manage technical projects across all regions. My focus is on ensuring high-quality installations, maintaining standards across the board, and serving as a key point of contact for quality assurance. It’s a role that allows me to bring together my technical knowledge, leadership experience, and passion for delivering the best outcomes for schools.

Over the past ten years, I’ve not only grown professionally but also personally. Moving from working in schools to managing large teams and projects has been a journey of continuous learning and development. Turn IT on has always provided a supportive environment, filled with encouraging and helpful colleagues who work together as one team.

What I appreciate most is how we tackle challenges collectively, support one another, and celebrate our achievements as a team. It’s this culture that has made my experience here so rewarding, and I’m excited to see what the future holds as we continue to grow and innovate.
