Computing at School
Computing at School (CAS) is an organisation that started in 2008 with an aim to recognise and support computer science in schools. They offer membership to everyone, including teachers, parents, governors.
The new Computing curriculum, includes Digital Literacy aspects from the old ICT curriculum but also launches dedicated Computer Science themes at primary school level. CAS help to support teachers who are excited by computing, by providing them with teaching resources, local hubs and the opportunity to meet with like-minded colleagues.
They offer guidance to all those involved in Computing education in schools, with a significant focus on the Computer Science theme within the wider Computing curriculum.
They have teamed up with Rising Stars to provide centrally hosted training days across the country at £150 per session.
