The Turn IT On SIMS team recently delivered a training session at Bloxham Primary School to an Oxfordshire partnership of schools. The training included:

· Overview to the deputy head and office staff of Discover and Assessment

· Overview of SENCO to the Special Needs staff

· Overview to teaching staff and other heads of SIMS.net Homepage, Taking Registers and Student Teacher View

The sessions went really well and we received the following feedback from Sandra Bletchly, Bursar at Bloxham Primary School:

Rachel and Melanie were very informative and knowledgeable. I have used SIMS for a very long time but still learnt a couple of things; it shows that the system has much more to offer than the ways we make use of it.

We were impressed with what we could get from the SEN side of SIMS and were are keen to use the assessment part of SIMS more. The overview of discover was very well received. The teachers were similarly impressed with the database overview”
