Free computing curriculum training at the Microsoft Campus!
Windows 8 an enigma? Apps for the new curriculum a conundrum? Licensing labour intensive? Worry not.
Here at Turn IT On we have teamed up with Microsoft to provide a free-of-charge day of Windows 8 and computing curriculum training at the Microsoft Campus in Reading. We are inviting the schools we support, along with schools located nearby.
Perfect for your ICT coordinator, the training will explain how to save money on licences, show how to use Windows 8 on new devices, and demonstrate apps for the new curriculum. The session is a good chance to find out ways to make the most of all the latest acquisitions from your school’s new budget and to really see the benefit of your investments during the advent of the new curriculum.
Lunch is included too!
The schools we support already receive free, onsite computing curriculum training from our qualified teaching consultants whenever they require it. Here is what Headteacher Viv Hutchinson, from Marcham CE Primary School in Oxfordshire, thought about a recent training session we ran for the staff there:
“The trainer was personable, enthusiastic, positive and made staff
feel that they had the skills to implement the new curriculum. He had
an easy style and it helped that he had taught and could give us
examples from his own experience.”
We hope the kind words we receive after every training session speak volumes, but why not see the benefits first-hand and book a place for yourself or for your ICT coordinator? You would be very welcome.
