Turn IT On and Marczak Assessment Solutions (run by Kim Marczak) are delighted to jointly announce that we have been successful in our bid to win the transfer of Oxfordshire Pupil Tracking (OPT) resources and support from Oxfordshire County Council.

About Turn IT On and Kim Marczak

Since 2003 Turn IT On has been providing hands-on computing support and training and now supports over 100 Oxfordshire schools.

Kim Marczak has been involved in the design, implementation and support of OPT since 2008.

Turn IT On and Kim Marczak have pooled our vast MIS experience to continue this much-valued Oxfordshire resource.

About OPT

OPT is a robust and effective assessment tracking tool for measuring attainment and progress. It was first developed in 2008 following a request from the local school improvement team.

The resulting resources were unique; they not only track statutory and local requirements but also national expectations.

The tool is fully adaptable to the changing landscape of assessment and over the years has been developed and redesigned in consultation with local schools and advisors.

The future of OPT

The OPT product and service is now jointly owned by Turn IT On and Marczak Assessment Solutions.

We are excited that this valuable resource is going to be both continued and enhanced given that OPT is an integral part of assessment for many Oxfordshire schools.

For subscribed schools the service will continue as it does now. Key points to note are:

• Schools will continue using existing OPT resources within SIMS or Integris
• All OPT updates, support, newsletters, classroom based training and network meetings are included
• Kim will still provide freelance training, support and bespoke design
• The current Turn IT On MIS team are hugely experienced and highly regarded by many schools and an experienced and dedicated OPT team will be joining Turn IT On in September to support schools subscribing to OPT
• Please see our order form for OPT prices, which will remain the same as those you are currently paying

Subscribe or attend our information event

If your school already subscribes to OPT through OCC you will continue to receive all support and updates until the end of August. To receive support and updates from Turn IT On and Kim Marczak from September onwards please complete and return this form.

Regardless of which company supports your school’s ICT or MIS, you can still subscribe to OPT support through Turn IT On and Kim Marczak.
